Manhattan, NY Elkus Manfredi Architects has been selected to lead a design of key interior spaces at Madison Square Park Tower, a 60-story luxury condominium located near Madison Square Park, at 45 East 22nd St. in the Flatiron District. The project encompasses the main lobby, adjacent library lounge, shared corridors on all residential floors, and two key resident lounges in the 777-ft. tower.

The design further establishes Madison Square Park Tower as a premiere luxury residence. The Condominium Board identified opportunities to enhance shared spaces and amenities to reflect the caliber of the 83 luxury units within.

The project’s anticipated completion is 2026.

“When residents invest in a property of this caliber in Manhattan, every aspect of their experience should exceed expectations,” said Elizabeth Lowrey, a principal at Elkus Manfredi Architects. “We are designing amenities and reimagining how these spaces can serve the resident owners and, importantly, strengthen the building’s position in Manhattan’s competitive luxury market.”

The design will transform the complete journey from street to private residence, including:

Main lobby and adjacent library lounge

Corridors on all 56 residential floors – a cohesive, elevated experience throughout the building

Fifth floor residents lounge – designed as a casual social area for everyday gatherings

54th floor residents lounge – Designed as a reservable venue for larger resident functions maximizing the views of the city.

Elkus Manfredi was selected for their demonstrated expertise in hospitality design and multifamily residential projects across the country, and their understanding of both programming needs and real estate positioning. The firm’s collaborative approach proved essential in working with Madison Square Park Tower’s condominium board members.

“We excel at consensus-building and, in this case, translating the vision and desire of residents and owners into reality,” said Elizabeth Lowrey who is leading the design team. “Our iterative design process allows us to adapt and refine concepts while maintaining the sophisticated standards these homeowners expect.”
