Eastern Consolidated has been retained as the exclusive leasing agent for a 19,000 s/f divisible retail space at 140 Franklin St. The property is available for immediate occupancy. The offering, located on the northwest corner of Varick St., is at the base of a seven-story condominium building. The property is comprised of 9,500 s/f on the ground floor with 14-foot ceilings and 9,500 s/f on the lower level with 10-foot ceilings. In addition, there is 185 feet of wraparound frontage. This area is highly coveted by celebrity residents, such as Mariah Carey, Billy Crystal, Robert DeNiro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Beyonce, Meryl Streep and Justin Timberlake, among others. In addition, 140 Franklin St. is surrounded by world-renowned restaurants, including Mr. Chow, Nobu, Odeon, Sarabeth's, Tribeca Grill, and Petite Abeille. "Tribeca is one of the hottest neighborhoods in Lower Manhattan and the demand for property only continues to rise," said James Famularo, senior director of the retail leasing division for Eastern Consolidated, who exclusively represents ownership. "Retail stores and restaurants throughout the area are jammed-packed seven days a week and receive a steady flow of foot traffic, making this a prime location for any tenant." Additional neighboring retail tenants include J Crew, Calypso, Gary Graham, Patron of the New, Drybar, Issey Miyake, Urban Archeology, Thom Browne, The Smile, Gloria Jewel, and Steven Alan Home Store, among others. The property is in close proximity to the No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, J and Z subway lines.
