Early corporate sponsors rally to support CREW New York's 40th Anniversary Gala

NEW YORK, NY Several major real estate organizations have demonstrated their support for the future of women in commercial real estate as CREW New York announces the first round of sponsors for its 40th Anniversary fundraising gala on Thursday, October 4, at 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th St.)

LANGAN and Zetlin + De Chiara LLP have committed to Gold Sponsorships. Jack Resnick and Sons and JLC Environmental Consultants have joined as Silver Sponsors, and Cushman & Wakefield and Pace Advertising are Bronze Sponsors for the event. In addition, several CREW New York member firms are leading the way with Friend level sponsorships.

“We are thrilled that so many companies – including Zetlin + De Chiara – have committed to significant levels of support of our event,” says Jaimee Nardiello, 2018 CREW New York President and a Partner with Zetlin & De Chiara LLP.  “After all, the goal of our gala is to provide for the future of our industry through scholarships and educational programs. It’s the perfect way to celebrate such a momentous occasion in our industry.”

The event, based on the theme of “Celebrating Yesterday, Shaping Tomorrow,” will feature a VIP reception, cocktail reception, formal dinner, silent auction and ceremony honoring industry leaders to be announced shortly.

Proceeds from the gala will make it possible for CREW New York to advance the success of women in commercial real estate by: providing scholarships and mentoring to young women entering or interested in CRE as a career; conducting career and community outreach; and supporting CREW Network Foundation’s philanthropic activities, as well as other nonprofit organizations serving women and girls.

“These organizations give so much to women and families in our city,” said Jennifer Carey, CEO of JLC Environmental, Sponsorship Committee Co-Chair of the event and Past President of CREW New York. “We are proud to support them, and I am proud to have my company support our gala.”

CREW New York, a chapter of the CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network), provides its members with direct access to more than 10,000 commercial real estate professionals in more than 70 major global markets. CREW New York encompasses the legacy organization of the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW), founded in 1978, and New York Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network (NYCREW), founded in late 2001. CREW New York is the single networking powerhouse helping women in commercial real estate to do business together.

“For more than four decades, CREW New York has been THE place for successful women in commercial real estate to network, stay ahead of market changes, meet industry leaders and enhance their professional skills,” said Christine Chipurnoi, senior vice president of real estate, construction & hospitality for USI Insurance Services, Sponsorship Committee Co-Chair and Past President of CREW New York. “Most importantly, it has been a place to develop significant business.”

A limited number of sponsorship packages, which include event tickets, journal ads and marketing privileges, on the Titanium, Platinum, Gold and Silver levels are still available. Individual tickets for the gala will be $650 for CREW members, $750 for non-members. For more information, and to register, visit www.crewny.org/gala.
