Dunne, MacKenzie, Apfel, Langer and Greenberg of CBRE sell 51 South Apartments for $64.3m

White Plains, NY Representatives of CBRE, led by Jeffrey Dunne, Stuart MacKenzie, Eric Apfel, Travis Langer, and Eric Greenberg of CBRE Institutional Properties announced the sale of 51 South Apartments, a Class A multifamily community for $64.3 million. CBRE represented the seller, RMS Companies.

Completed in 2025, 51 South consists of 134 dwelling units with structured parking and an amenity package. The property is a 15-minute walk to White Plains Metro-North station, providing access to New York City in less than 40 minutes.

51 South benefits from a 12-year tax PILOT and features designer in-unit finishes with over 20,000 s/f of amenities including multiple indoor and outdoor tenant lounges, a resort-style pool with cabanas, a fitness center with spin and yoga studio, HD multi-sport simulator, billiards and shuffleboard, and co-working areas, to name a few.

“RMS Companies did a fantastic job developing 51 South and we are thrilled to have represented the seller in the disposition of this boutique property,” said Dunne.

“White Plains has seen a significant wave of new supply over the past few years,” said MacKenzie. “That supply has been steadily absorbed as new residents discover everything the downtown has to offer, all within a short commute to New York City.”
