Dubin joins Helmsley Spear as executive managing director

New York, NY Helmsley Spear, LLC, one of America’s oldest continuously operating real estate firm founded in 1866, is hiring Michael Dubin to serve as executive managing director of the firm. Dubin has a three decades long career executing every aspect of hundreds of siginificant commercial real estate transactions in the New York City Metropolitan market. 

“Michael is one of the most accomplished commercial real estate porfessionals in the industry today, and has decades of executing successful transactions. I have known and worked with Michael over many years, and we are honored to have him working with us,” said Kent Swig, president of Helmsley Spear.

Prior to Joining Helmsley Spear, LLC, Dubin was a partner at Savitt Partners LLC, where for over a decade he represented many companies, in multiple industries developing a specialty representing clients in the healthcare, not for profit and education sectors. 

Dubin’s client roster includes leading New York hosplitals such as Lenox Hill, Mount Sinai Health Systems, Hospital for Special Surgery and the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. In related areas he has represented insurance companies, medical equipment manufacturers, and numerous group and individual medical practices. Over his career he has brokered in excess of ten million s/f, and has managed approximately six million s/f of space as a leasing or sales agent.

Dubin is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York ( REBNY ), and the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association. He received his BA from Boston University and his JD from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.
