Davidson of JPMorgan Chase wins CoreNet award

New York, NY According to CoreNet Global, member Michael Davidson, head of global corporate real estate at JPMorgan Chase, was awarded the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Executive of the Year Award at the CoreNet Global Summit Awards Dinner on October 22nd.  

The CRE Executive of the Year Award recognizes a leader who made outstanding and distinguished contributions to their company and to the industry. It is aimed at acknowledging the achievements of the nominee in the past year. 

“We are so excited for Michael to receive this award for his leadership and contributions to the entire CRE industry, as well as to the NYC Chapter of CoreNet,” said Dale Schlather, executive vice chairman, Cushman & Wakefield and CoreNet NYC board advisor. “He is an invaluable industry leader and we look forward to seeing what he will accomplish in the years to come.”

Davidson leads a team of regional and line of business managers overseeing JPMorgan Chase’s global corporate office portfolio, encompassing 45 million s/f across 456 locations with an annual $2 billion operating plan supporting 200,000 occupants, representing every business and function at the firm. Davidson and a large extended team have also been integrally involved in JPMorgan Chase’s NYC headquarters strategy, which will make way for a new tower to replace 270 Park Ave. 

“Michael’s involvement in complex and state-of-the-art projects makes him one of the key leaders in CRE today,” said Jason Aster, senior vice president, KBA Visual Lease and CoreNet NYC Chapter chair. “His thoughtful leadership, continuous focus on intellectual growth and generous mentorship of his colleagues within CoreNet make him the ideal recipient for this prestigious award.” 

Davidson graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Fordham University in 1994 and in 2012 earned an MBA from the TRIUM Global Executive Program.
