Jericho, NY According to Engel Burman, a preeminent developer, builder, operator, and owner of residential and commercial properties, most notably its portfolio of The Bristal Assisted Living communities, Daniel Daragiu has joined the company as CFO for the Construction Division.
In this position, he will be responsible for all financial management of the division, which currently has several hundred million dollars of construction activity underway in the NY Metro area, with considerable more expected to commence within the next 24 months.
With over 15 years of senior-level roles in the real estate and construction industries, Daragiu comes to Engel Burman from Blue Industries in North Brunswick, NJ, where he served as CFO for both Blue Star Glass, Inc. and Blue Line Drywall & Builders, Inc. Prior to that he was CFO for New York City-based Danya Cebus.
Daragiu graduated from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and earned his MBA from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned the Bloomberg Market Concepts Certification.
