New York, NY Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of Acme Hall, a 20,303 s/f, mixed-use building located at 435 9th St. in Brooklyn. The final sale price was $11 million.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Dan O’Brien, Jonathan Squires, Caroline Hodes and Josh Neustadter represented the seller.

“Built in 1890, the timeless design and rich history of Acme Hall adds historical and aesthetic value to the beloved Park Slope neighborhood,” said O’Brien.

“The sale of an outer borough office and retail property at this price in today’s market demonstrates the effectiveness of Cushman’s platform during any economic condition,” said Squires.

Acme Hall is a four-story building with three retail units on the ground floor and one office unit on the upper floors. The property features an elevator, oversized arched windows, original tin ceilings, oak woodwork, a ballroom and 130 ft. of wrap-around frontage along Ninth St. and Seventh Ave.

The asset is located at the foot of the Seventh Ave. train station, servicing the F and G trains. The property is also located within five minutes to I-278, allowing for access to the surrounding neighborhoods.
