Creighton Manning Engineering acquires local land development group
Creighton Manning Engineering, LLP, a Capital Region engineering and land surveying firm, has acquired the local land development group of Infinigy Engineering. The acquisition expands the firm's growing civil engineering practice and doubles its existing land development staff.
The combined land development group provides civil engineering for the design, permitting and development of high-tech, residential, retail, office and hospitality projects. One of Creighton Manning's more notable land development projects is the expansion of the Albany NanoTech Complex at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany.
"This is an exciting time for the firm," said John Tozzi, P.E., partner of Creighton Manning Engineering. "Combining our civil engineering groups provides additional staff resources to handle even the most challenging projects."
Michael Tucker, P.E., previously a principal and director of land development for Infinigy Engineering, is leading the expanded group at Creighton Manning. He has over 22 years of experience in civil/site design and permitting for residential, retail, commercial, and hospitality development. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
"This is a good fit for us," said Tucker. "This strategic acquisition provides Infinigy's land development clients and staff with greater in-house technical resources including traffic and transportation engineering, landscape architecture, construction inspection and surveying services."
