According to Mitchell and Gregg Rechler, company partners of Rechler Equity Partners, the firm has signed a new, 31,350 s/f lease for Appliance World of Huntington, Inc. at 90 Plant Ave.
Appliance World is an authorized dealer of kitchen, laundry, cooking and cooling appliances, with retail stores in the Long Island towns of Oyster Bay and Huntington. The company, which was looking for a larger space, is relocating its Nassau County warehousing and distribution operations to Suffolk County.
Chris Costa, director of leasing for Rechler, negotiated the deal on behalf of the landlord, and Bob Misa of Industry One Realty represented the tenant. The leasing activity at 90 Plant Ave. has been steady, and the building is now fully occupied. Earlier this year, Costa completed a 10,000 s/f lease at the property for MTex, LLC, a digital print solutions manufacturer.
"Rechler Equity Partners not only offered the tenant a competitive deal in Hauppauge, but also the ability to grow within its portfolio in the years to come," said Costa.
Located between Kennedy Dr. and Oser Ave., 90 Plant Ave. offers tenants a convenient location near a number of major roadways including the Long Island Expressway, the Northern State and Sunken Meadow Pwys. Tags:
