CapitalSource As the managing director and head of the real estate group at CapitalSource, Chris Kelly manages the origination of commercial real estate debt and mezzanine investments. As a portfolio lender, CapitalSource origination activities target investments in transitional real estate typically sponsored by owner/developers and private equity groups. CapitalSource lends against all types of commercial and residential properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. As a 21-year commercial real estate finance professional, Kelly has extensive experience in real estate debt, mezzanine, and equity markets. Prior to CapitalSource, he was a Managing Director and founding member of CDC Mortgage Capital where he was primarily responsible for the origination of senior and mezzanine loans.
