CoreNet to hold Millennial program on October 6th

Plainview, NY More than a third of American workers are Millennials – generally defined as adults age 18 to 34. Last year they passed Gen Xers as the largest percentage of the workforce, according to many sources.

Millennials are influencing workplace design and the essence of how we work. CoreNet is assembling a panel to look at the subject from the end user’s, landlord’s and architect’s points of view. The event will be held on Thursday, October 6th at Carlyle at the Palace, 1600 Round Swamp Rd. The schedule includes: Networking breakfast at 7:45 a.m.; program at 8:30 a.m.; and Q&A at 9:30 a.m.

They will examine how companies are rethinking work spaces, managing change and using the workplace as a tool to recruit and retain Millennials – along with other demographic groups.
