CoreNet NYC hosts REmmy’s Gala

 

 

Manhattan, NY The CoreNet Global New York City Chapter (CoreNet NYC) hosted its third annual REmmy’s Gala on September 25, 2025, at Casa Cipriani, drawing a sold-out crowd and a record attendance of almost 700 professionals from across the corporate real estate sector. The gala spotlighted this year’s REmmy Award winners, recognizing the industry’s most impactful projects and visionary leaders. The evening brought together industry executives and innovators for a night of networking, celebration, and recognition of outstanding achievement.

Awards were presented in five distinct categories, recognizing excellence and influence within the corporate real estate sector: Project of the Year, Young Leader of the Year, Service Provider of the Year, Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year, and Deal of the Year.

Mindy Williams, chair of CoreNet’s New York Chapter, said, “This year’s REmmys Gala continued our commitment to honoring excellence at every stage of the corporate real estate continuum. Our members drive innovation throughout New York City’s commercial landscape, and the gala was a special moment to recognize their contributions, leadership, and vision in shaping our City’s future.”

The presenters included: Max Gross, editor-in-chief of Commercial Observer; Rich Bockmann, senior reporter and commercial bureau chief of The Real Deal; Jack Macejka, vice president of national accounts at The Advance Group; Debra Cole, principal/client relations director, HLW; and Jaime Fuertes, managing director and global head of workplace solutions at Apollo Global Management Inc.

CoreNet NYC congratulates the 2025 Corporate Real Estate Awards for Excellence winners:

• Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year: Elyse Šanti?, real estate project executive at Google 

Elyse Šanti?, Associate AIA, leads Google’s NYC Real Estate Design & Delivery team, overseeing projects from concept through construction to create innovative workspaces. She has over 26 years of experience in architecture, design, operations, project management, and commercial real estate. Elyse has expertise in technology, corporate broadcasting, studios, retail, financial, and disaster recovery facilities. She specializes in strategic planning, design management, budgeting, sustainability, and smart building/IoT integration.

• Service Provider of the Year: Amanda Carroll, managing director & principal at Gensler

Amanda is co-managing director of Gensler’s New York office and a member of the firm’s board of directors. She advises leading companies and developers on workplace strategy, ESG goals, and the future of work, with landmark projects including Google’s St. John’s Terminal and Etsy’s Brooklyn headquarters. An active member of CoreNet Global, she contributes to thought leadership on corporate real estate and workplace innovation.

• Young Leader of the Year: Lisa Marie Nilaj, global project manager and business analyst, Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP

Lisa Marie serves as the global project manager and business analyst at Davidson Kempner Capital Management. She leads the firm’s corporate real estate team, overseeing all global office expansion and construction projects, including major developments in Philadelphia, Dublin, London, Hong Kong, and the ongoing relocation of the firm’s NYC headquarters.

• Deal of the Year: Chobani House

Chobani House’s lease and development at 360 Bowery has set a new benchmark for how corporate headquarters shape both the real estate industry and local community impact. By securing the entire 22-story, 120,000 s/f tower in Manhattan’s NoHo, Chobani’s team — represented by JLL — demonstrated strategic vision amid shifting commercial space demands and rising neighborhood prestige.

Project of the Year – 0-30,000 s/f: Ted Moudis Associates, TMA

Project of the Year - 30,000 - 90,000 s/f: Confidential Investment Firm, Gensler

Project of the Year – 100,000 – 300,000 s/f: Quinn Emanuel, Studios
