CoreNet Long Island presents $14,000 to two Long Island organizations

Lake Success, NY The Long Island Chapter of CoreNet Global presented checks for $7,000 each to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island and Make-A-Wish Metro New York. The donations represented proceeds from the chapter’s 20th Annual Charitable Golf Outing, held on July 18th at Fresh Meadow Country Club.

The donations continued the chapter’s now 20-year tradition of giving to these organizations.

Chapter president Robert Benrubi presented the checks to Deanna Tropeano, special events manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters Long Island, and Kathie Lombardi, manager, national and community alliances for Make-A-Wish Metro New York, at the chapter’s November 10th networking event in Melville. Benrubi is CEO of Northport-based Community Health and Development Strategies.
