CoreNet Global NYC Chapter explores the future of corporate real estate with AI & Blockchain Program

Manhattan, NY The NYC Chapter of CoreNet Global hosted “AI & Blockchain: The New Frontier of Corporate Real Estate,” an educational program examining how emerging technologies are reshaping the way corporate occupiers lease, develop and manage real estate portfolios.

Held at Corgan’s New York office, the program brought together industry leaders to discuss practical applications of artificial intelligence, blockchain technology and digital twins, as well as the evolving regulatory landscape influencing corporate real estate decision-making.

Moderated by Mandy McGill, founder of Decentralized Everything, the panel featured Dan Silverman of Balcony, Ubair Javaid of Nomyx, and Evangelos Tzoulafis of tZERO.

Together, the panelists shared real-world examples of how these technologies are streamlining transactions, improving operational visibility and helping organizations make more informed real estate decisions.

Throughout the discussion, panelists explored how blockchain can reduce friction across leasing, title management and compliance processes, while digital twins are providing owners and occupiers with real-time insight into construction projects and portfolio performance. The conversation also addressed the regulatory developments expected to shape the commercial real estate industry in 2026 and beyond, offering attendees practical guidance on identifying high-impact use cases and building internal support for technology adoption

“Technology is no longer a future consideration for corporate real estate, it’s becoming a competitive advantage,” said Sonya Dufner, president of the New York City Chapter of CoreNet Global. “Programs like this help our members better understand emerging tools and provide practical insights they can apply within their organizations today.”

The event reflects CoreNet NYC’s ongoing commitment to delivering timely educational programming that equips corporate real estate professionals with the knowledge and resources needed to navigate an increasingly technology-driven industry.
