Consolo and Maglio of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group arrange long-term lease for Moe's Sneaker Spot

unnamed 118 Washington Street - Hoboken, NJ
Hoboken, NJ  The national leasing and sales team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Arthur Maglio of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group is responsible for a long-term lease at 118 Washington St., between 1st and 2nd Sts., for Moe's Sneaker Spot. Located in one of Hoboken's most sought after retail corridor, it is the second lease that Consolo and Maglio have worked on for the footwear and sports apparel chain, following its recent store in Harlem. "This group now has a presence in major shopping malls, lifestyle centers and key urban high streets," said Consolo. "Moe's is in an expansion mode and we have plans to take it into even more premier markets throughout the Tri-State area." Maglio said, "Moe's Sneaker Spot is an authorized Nike retailer, which has traditionally given it an edge over many of its multi-brand competitors. The key for us was to find an area with a concentration of youthful buyers who would appreciate the unique access to designer sportswear and athletic footwear labels." Other stores along the Washington St. corridor include Anthropologie, Francesca's, Athleta, Baby Gap and Footlocker. Among the nearby restaurants are Luke's Lobster, Bare Burger, Panera Bread, Grimaldi's and iconic Hoboken bakery Carlo's Bake Shop. Consolo and Maglio exclusively represented the tenant. The landlord was represented by Century 21 Innovative Realty, Inc.
