Consolo and Aquino of Pru. Douglas Elliman close 800 s/f at 897 Madison

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, of Prudential Douglas Elliman's retail leasing and sales division represented both the landlord and tenant in bringing Roundabout to one of its first area locations, at 897 Madison Ave. With three stores in Conn., Roundabout has committed to the 800 s/f location with exposure at the corner of 72nd St. in the Gold Coast shopping district. "Vintage clothing is very much in vogue right now, and is seeing a resurgence by Hollywood starlets on the west coast," said Consolo. "Roundabout is in a perfect Madison Ave. location to cater to N.Y.'s socialites and fashion-forward elites." According to Aquino, "897 Madison is also near the newly opened Tom Ford, Asprey and Juicy Couture flagships-this new boutique has truly taken advantage of a golden opportunity to be located among their ideal shopping base." "Shoppers in this Madison Ave. neighborhood know that it is synonymous with glamour and luxury," said Consolo. "With new and classic items from such prestigious designers as Hermes, Oscar de la Renta, Issey Miyake, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Chloe, Valentino, Michael Kors, Dolce and Gabbana, and Phillip Lim, shoppers who stroll along Madison Ave. won't be able to resist Roundabout."
