Buffalo-based Skyworks will expand operations from 3,000 s/f to 35,550 s/f following the heavy equipment sales and rental service company's acquisition late last month of 795 Hoosick Rd. for $2.125 million.
Skyworks is looking to open doors to the new location by the end of the year. Per Joe Raziano Branch, manager of the Albany location, they will also be adding new jobs with the expansion. Carbone Subaru, the previous owner, moved their business across the street to 800 Hoosick St. The brokers involved were Jim Conroy of Berkshire Hathaway and Susan Cerone of Realty USA.
