Community Development Corp. of Long Island launches search for new COO

Community Development Corp. of Long Island (CDCLI) seeks a COO to partner closely with their president & CEO, Marianne Garvin, in creating and implementing innovative programs that promote housing and economic development on Long Island. CDCLI is a 46 year old regional non-profit that is committed to making the dreams of long term economic stability come true. In fiscal year 2014, CDCLI served over 22,000 Long Islanders. CDCLI is governed by a 15 member board of directors, has a 20 member council of advisors, annual revenue of $72 million, and an operating budget of $13 million. When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
