Cleeman Realty Group brokers $15.95m sale of Grand Union Plaza

Cortland, NY Cleeman Realty Group brokered the $15.95 million sale of Cortland Grand Union Plaza. The 133,846 s/f shopping center is anchored by a Grand Union grocery store on a 21.6 acre lot. The grocery store had been a Tops Supermarket from 1999 until recently when C&S Wholesale Grocers acquired the site as part of the Tops/Price Chopper merger in late 2021. The property was 98% occupied at the time of closing.

Sam Seelenfreund of Cleeman Realty Group represented the buyer and Steven Koutsantonis of Cedar William represented the seller.

“The buyer was attracted to the strong line up of national tenants and high-performing grocery anchor,” said Seelenfreund.
