Clark of Cushman & Wakefield and Horowitz of Cohen Bros. lease 13,000 s/f at 750 Lexington Avenue to Brewer Attorneys and Counselors

Manhattan, NY Brewer Attorneys and Counselors has signed a direct lease for the 13,000 s/f 14th floor at at 750 Lexington Ave. The law firm had been a sub-tenant in the building.

Sam Clark of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant while Marc Horowitz, senior vice president and national director of office leasing for Cohen Brothers Realty Corp., represented the landlord in the 5-year leasing transaction. Asking rent for the space was $75 per s/f.

“We’re delighted that this respected Dallas-based law firm has chosen our signature office tower as its New York home”, said Charles Cohen, president and CEO of Cohen Brothers Realty Corp.

Also known as International Plaza, the 31-story skyscraper, designed by architect Helmut Jahn, occupies the westerly blockfront of Lexington Ave. between 59th and 60th Streets, across from Bloomingdales department store.

Founded in 1984, Brewer Attorneys and Counselors specializes in a wide range of practices, including anti-trust and trade regulations as well as bankruptcy, environmental, hotel, hospitality and real estate law. Its commercial litigation and resolution experts represent some of the nation’s largest oil and gas, real estate and technology firms. Charles S. Cohen heads a multi-faceted real estate development company that owns and manages over eleven million square feet of prime Class A New York, West Side Los Angeles, South Florida and Houston commercial space. Among the other Manhattan office buildings owned and managed by Cohen Brothers are  623 Fifth Avenue, 135 East 57th Street, 805 Third Avenue, 3 Park Avenue, 622 Third Avenue,   3 East 54th Street, 475 Park Avenue South and the D&Amp;D Building at 979 Third Avenue.
