Clarett Group appoints Cole managing director

The Clarett Group, a nationally recognized real estate development company headquartered in New York City, has appointed Peter Cole as managing director to lead the firm's Washington, D.C. office. A 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate development industry, Cole will lead Clarett's business in Washington and be responsible for identifying investment and development opportunities and expanding The Clarett Group's capabilities throughout the D.C. area. Prior to joining The Clarett Group, Cole served as a senior vice president of development for Republic Property Trust. Cole earned an M.S. degree in real estate investment from NYU and a B.A. in art history from Connecticut College. Headquartered in New York City with offices in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, The Clarett Group is a nationally recognized real estate development company. Comprised of a highly focused team with a unique depth of experience in all aspects of real estate development, Clarett is recognized for its quality residential and mixed-use projects in major metropolitan areas. In 2002, the firm joined forces with Prudential Real Estate Investors and formed Clarett Capital, LLC to develop real estate in urban areas. The joint venture company brings in institutional co-investors on an individual project-by-project basis.
