CIREB November marketing session hosted by Albany Management

CIREB's November marketing session was held at 41 State St., hosted by Albany Management. Georgette Steffens, executive director of the Downtown Albany BID spoke to the membership about the continued improvements to the downtown area. Visit downtownalbany.org for updates. On Dec. 3, Windsor Development will host a marketing session at 7 Southside Dr., Clifton Park. CIREB's annual meeting will be held at this meeting. The voting membership will vote on the proposed 2010 slate of officers and directors, revisions to its by-laws and reports from committee chairpersons. CIREB has welcomed the following new members: * Associate membership: Patricia Germer and Christine Galvin, Purdy Realty; Mathew Landry, Keller Williams; and Amjad Mughal, Keller Williams. * Affiliate membership: Bohler Engineering, represented by Chris Boyea and Bond, Schoeneck & King, and also by Bob Feller. On Dec. 4, there will be a 7.5-hour course: CE Credit Selling Commercial and Investment Properties, Issues, Money and Laws. Cost is $80 for CIREB members or $100 for non-members. On Jan. 29, 2010, there will be a 7.5-hour CE Credit course: All about Leases. This course will explore the many different types of commercial property leases and the various issues that they need to cover. You will learn the terminology and key clauses found in most leases and examine the entire leasing process. Cost is $100 for CIREB members or $125 for non-members. CIREB will also host the followinf CCIM Courses in 2010: CI Intro March 8 & 9, CI 103 July 26-31 and CI 104 September 20-25. Registration should be made directly with CCIM. CIREB's Annual Holiday Party/Fundraiser will be held on Thursday Dec. 10, 5:30 -9 p.m. at 74 State. In the spirit of the season, CIREB will raise money for the Capital District YMCA's Reach Out For Youth's campaign. Cost to attend is a $10 donation, or more! CIREB holds its monthly marketing sessions on the first Thursday of each month and are free to all CIREB members. Guests may attend these sessions at a cost of $10.00 per person.
