CIBS extends contest deadline to February 28 for "Most Ingenious Deal"

The deadline for the 2012 Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award - the coveted MIDY - will be extended to Feb 28, according to CIBS, the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island. The contest recognizes the transaction for calendar year 2011 that is most "ingenious," in terms of overcoming obstacles and closing the deal. Submissions must have involved a Long Island real estate property or properties or developmental site or sites, and be completed by Dec. 31. Submitter must be a regular member in good standing of CIBS during the time of the negotiations and signing of the subject transaction, and meet other criteria.
