Century 21 Grand broadens reach in Hudson Valley with merge of Century 21 Anarumo-Zoar

Century 21 Grand continued its aggressive growth into Orange County by merging with Century 21 Anarumo-Zoar. "This is a great fit for both companies," said Jeffrey Stern, a partner with Century 21 Grand. "This merger will continue our company's expansion into Orange County while broadening our commercial services division, which is one of Century 21 Anarumo-Zoar's strengths." As part of the transaction, Century 21 Grand hopes to vacate its 1,300 s/f location at 1227 Rte. 300 by year's end and move into the newly constructed, 15,000 s/f office center at Rte. 300 and Old South Plank Rd. Thomas Anarumo, the broker/president of Century 21 Anarumo-Zoar Realty, will serve as Century 21 grand's director of commercial services. A residential sales manager of the new, combined office and its staff of 20 professionals will be named soon. Century 21 Grand is one of the the leading Century 21 affiliates in the Hudson Valley area. The company currently operates offices in New City, Pearl River, Pomona, Goshen and Monroe. Anarumo founded his firm more than 20 years ago and joined three partners in forming Anarumo-Zoar in 2000. The company has been a Century 21 affiliate for four years. In the residential real estate sector, Anarumo-Zoar also specializes in development and income-producing properties. "Century 21 Grand is an exciting, innovative company and we are very excited to be partnering with them," said Anarumo. "With our extensive experience in commercial real estate and Century 21 Grand's deep resources and knowledge in the residential sector, we are poised to increase our market share and better service all the real estate needs of clients in Orange County and the Hudson Valley." Anarumo-Zoar is the second Orange County company to join Century 21 Grand in the past 18 months. "This merger represents a great growth opportunity," said Stern. "The focal point of our company's expansion will be in Orange County, and Newburgh is ripe for growth."
