Melville, NY According to CBRE Long Island, Patrick Breslin and Kenny Yip have joined the firm as executive vice president and vice president, respectively.

“For more than a decade, Pat and Kenny have established a strong retail partnership across the Tri-State region,” said Robert Caruso, CBRE senior managing director. “As seasoned professionals, this team will service Long Island retail occupiers, investors, and select corporate accounts.”

Breslin brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience to CBRE. Prior to joining the firm, he was the executive managing director of the Retail division at Colliers International with a specific focus on tenant representation. In addition, he was also the global head of retail with Studley, Inc., after joining their Manhattan office as an executive vice president to strategically advise and represent prominent metropolitan, national and global tenants with all their retail requirements. Throughout his career, Breslin has completed more than 12 million s/f of retail transactions valued at $10 billion for notable global retailers including Ulta Beauty, The Home Depot, The Bank of New York, JPMorgan Chase, Gap and Verizon, among others. Breslin has completed transactions in the Caribbean, South America, Central Asia and Europe.

Yip has worked with Breslin and his retail team spanning 15 years with Grubb & Ellis, Studley Inc., and Colliers International. Over his career, he has helped many international brands break into the U.S. market including German tea shop Tea Gschwendner, German beerhouse Paulaner Brauhaus and Chinese restaurant group Hai Di Lao. During his tenure at Colliers International, Yip aided the continued expansion of Verizon Wireless and completed over a dozen Ulta Beauty transactions throughout the New York City and Long Island markets. Yip has also represented Rockefeller Group, AECOM and F&T Group with the leasing and eventual sale of the Flushing Commons retail component, one of the largest projects in downtown Flushing history.
