October 28, 2013 - Front Section
CBRE Group, Inc. has been ranked first in the "Best Commercial Real Estate Tenant Representation" and "Best Realty Services Provider" categories in a readers' poll conducted by New York Law Journal. CBRE also received the second place award for "Best Commercial Real Estate Property Management Firm." The rankings, which were featured in the September 16th publication, were based on votes by NYLJ's readership base of in-house and private practice attorneys and other law-related professionals. CBRE was cited in all three categories from among top commercial real estate companies serving the New York law firm market.
"CBRE is honored to be selected by New York Law Journal's readers - which include the leading law firms in the City - as the best commercial real estate company for law firm tenant representation and overall realty services," said Kyle Schoppmann, senior managing director and global chair of CBRE's law firm practice group. "Our New York law firm specialists provide a multitude of services—including property management—to a growing list of law firms on a local-to-global level. We're proud to be honored for CBRE's outstanding capabilities on behalf of law firms."

Published since 2010, the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings is celebrating its fourth year of giving the New York legal community the opportunity to acknowledge who they believe to be the best providers of products and services to their industry.
Each year the number of voters for the Reader Rankings has grown, and this year was no exception. In 2013, more than 8,200 lawyers and legal professionals cast ballots in an online survey made up of more than 80 categories across litigation support, consulting and outsourcing, technology, recruiting and staffing, research, accounting, financial services, real estate, mediation and education. Voters had the option of selecting firms listed on the ballot or writing in their favorite firm. Once voting closed, the NYLJ team verified that all voters were lawyers or legal professionals. Votes from anyone who could not be verified as lawyers or legal professionals were disqualified, as were votes from competing vendor firms.
