CB Richard Ellis handles four recent Manhattan leases: 53,151 s/f

CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has recently completed the following four leases, totaling 53,151 s/f: CBRE arranged a 10-year, 11,717 s/f lease at 546 Fifth Ave. on behalf of the landlord, Safra National Bank of New York. As part of an expansion, law firm Belluck & Fox leased the entire 4th floor, which it will occupy by year's end.  The landlord is an owner/occupier of 546 Fifth Ave., and is building out the space for Belluck & Fox. Derrick Ades, senior vice president, CBRE, arranged the deal with Laurence Briody, senior vice president, Brian Hay, senior associate, and Brian Feil, associate. Jim Gross, of Williamson, Picket, Gross, Inc., represented the landlord. CBRE arranged a 10-year, 14,300 s/f lease at 408 Broadway on behalf of the landlord, Vanick Properties Inc.  Spin Magazine will occupy the entire 4th floor when it occupies the space later this year. Ades arranged the deal with Matthew Bergey, senior associate, and Feil. Philip Amarante, of Cushman & Wakefield, represented Spin. CBRE arranged a 14,000 s/f lease on behalf of ADT Security Services at 229 West 28th St. The 10-year lease includes the building's 12,500 s/f fifth floor and 1,500 s/f of basement space for storage and distribution. Joss Realty Partners is the landlord. Dirk Hrobsky, senior vice president, at CBRE represented ADT. Barry Bernstein and David Danick, of Winoker Realty Co., represented Joss Realty Partners. CBRE arranged a six-year, 12,851 s/f lease at 1500 Broadway on behalf of Hewitt Associates LLC.  Hewitt is taking the entire 29th floor, expanding its presence in the building. It already occupies 19,000 s/f on the 31st and 32nd floors. Tamares Realty is the landlord. Ken Rapp, vice chairman at CBRE represented the tenant with Rob Weber, director of corporate services in CBRE's Chicago office. Built in 1974, the 33-story office tower at 1500 Broadway is located between 43rd and 44th Sts. in Times Sq. Construction on the 29th floor is expected to be completed in early fall. Alex Cohen, of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the landlord.
