Bues of Forchelli named to Cleary School for the Deaf board of directors

Uniondale, NY John Bues, an associate with Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo &Terrana, LLP,  has joined the board of directors of the Cleary School for the Deaf.  The Cleary School is a not-for-profit school for deaf children serving the Long Island community.

The School provides comprehensive education for its students, including programs that integrate students into Long Island public schools.  

“It is an honor to be working with such an incredible school in the Long Island community,” said Mr. Bues.  “The programs the school has to offer children with hearing impairments and their families are truly amazing.  I hope to assist in the school’s continued success and positive contribution to the children and their families.”  

Bues has extensive experience in real estate, banking, construction and corporate transactions and litigation. He has represented clients in numerous complex matters, including commercial lending and financing, contract disputes, mortgage and lien foreclosure actions, mortgage workouts, bar claim actions, title disputes, corporate shareholder disputes, corporate dissolution proceedings, insurance coverage actions, property damage claims arising out of construction projects, and landlord-tenant proceedings. 

He is admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.  He is a graduate of Elmira College and the Western New England College School of Law.
