Britvan of CRS LI and Tabone of NKF arrange 97,000 s/f lease

Jericho, NY Jack Britvan, SIOR, and president of Commercial Realty Services of Long Island and Chuck Tabone, SIOR, managing principal at Newmark Knight Frank, were the brokers representing Frequency Electronics in their 97,000 s/f lease at 55 Charles Lindbergh Blvd. in Mitchel Field. The landlord was represented
by Ken Bauer of RXR.

Frequency is an original tenant of the Mitchel Field development built in 1981. In 1990, as exclusive to Frequency, Britvan worked with Tabone who represented National Health Labs (now LabCorp) and brokered a 108,000 s/f build-to-suit building at 51 Charles Lindberg Blvd. In 1998, Britvan, representing Frequency, co-brokered Lockheed Martin’s leasing of 125,000 s/f at 55 Charles Lindberg Blvd. and was the consultant in the sale partial lease-back of 51 and 55 Charles Lindbergh Blvd. to Reckson Realty Development Corp.

Frequency’s new lease runs thru September 2029.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
