Bohemia, NY To ensure P.W. Grosser Consulting, Inc.’s (PWGC) future growth, the firm promoted two of its most senior associates as part of a long-term management transition plan.
On January 1st, 2018, Paul Grosser, PhD., PE, PG, will be stepping down as president and chief operating officer of PWGC. This strategic move is part of a management restructuring at PWGC that will promote current senior vice president Paul Boyce, PE, PG, to the position of president, and fellow senior vice president Jim Rhodes, PG, to COO. Grosser will continue his role at PWGC as chairman of the board and CEO.
“I want to congratulate Paul and Jim on their new roles at PWGC,” said Grosser, who founded PWGC in 1990. “Both individuals have been with the company for more than two decades and have been integral to our growth. This move will ensure the continued success of PWGC.”
PWGC’s board of directors began working on a strategy for PWGC’s management succession more than two years ago, with the resulting plan mapping out a seamless transition. This effort also resulted in the creation of PWGC’s Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), which afforded the company’s more than 70 employees an ownership interest.
Boyce, who manages PWGC’s engineering division, has been with PWGC for 24 years, focusing largely on water-related engineering projects, and has played a key role in the company’s growth. He will take over as president with the goal of continuing and expanding PWGC’s success.
“It is a very exciting time here at PWGC,” said Boyce. “We are growing at a rapid pace and I am looking forward to helping lead the firm towards a bright future.”
Rhodes, who oversees PWGC’s environmental division, has also been with PWGC for 24 years and has been a catalyst for the success of the company’s environmental division. He will take over as COO with the goal of furthering PWGC’s market influence.
“I feel privileged and excited to be named COO of PWGC,” said Rhodes. “It is a very exciting time at the firm and I intend to utilize my skills to help facilitate our continued growth, attainment of new skills, and to further enhance our industry brand.”
