Bono, a project engineer for the Wastewater Engineering Division at H2M, has completed the New York State Civil Engineering P.E. test and has earned his professional engineering license.
Bono joined H2M in January 2009 and his responsibilities include the preparation of engineering reports, plans, specifications, and bid documents for several projects such as the Town of Brookhaven Sewer Improvement Area No. 1 in the East Patchogue area and the sanitary sewer design for the hamlets of Kings Park and Smithtown for the Suffolk County Departmetn of Public Works. Mr. Bono is a graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering. He is a member of Water Environment Federation.
Hardik Parekh, project engineer in the Environmental Services division at H2M, has successfully completed Part B, Principles and Practice of Engineering examination and is now a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in New York State.
Parekh has been working with H2M since September 2009. His responsibilities include supervision of field testing, remediation operations, and groundwater monitoring programs; preparation of investigation work plans, health and safety plans, remedial action plans, site closure reports, Phase II and Phase III environmental site assessment reports, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans; design and implementation of vapor barrier and active venting systems as well as intricate remedial systems for contaminated sites. He has an M.S., Environmental Engineering from Lamar University and a B.E., Civil Engineering from M.S. University, Baroda, India. Mr. Parekh also has his OSHA Certification for Health and Safety Operations at Hazardous Waste Sites.
