According to Sabre Real Estate Group LLC, Dr. Carfora Family Medicine and Sport Clips Haircuts have recently signed leases.
The medical practice, owned by family medicine specialist Roxanne Carfora, D.O., leased 3,128 s/f in the new LEED-certified retail/office center at Motor Parkway Plaza at 694 Motor Pkwy. at the Long Island Expwy. Greg Batista, a director at Sabre, represented Carfora in arranging the lease with the landlord, United Realty. Gary Joel Schacker, SIOR, represented ownership in-house.
Sport Clips Haircuts, a national sport-themed hair-care franchise for men and boys, has signed a lease for a new location. The 950-unit chain, ranked in Entrepreneur Magazine's top 20 Fastest Growing Franchises, in the Top 100 in the Franchise 500, and in the Top 10 in Forbes' Top 20 Franchises, has leased 1,156 s/f in the Hauppauge Shopping Center, Rtes. 347 and 111. Batista represented Sports Clips in arranging the lease with the landlord, Federal Realty Investment Trust. Joe Byrnes of Federal represented the landlord in-house.
