Balaban, Halevi, Johnson, Matchton, Tanenbaum, and Williams accepted into Moritt Hock & Hamroff's summer associates & legal interns program

Garden City, NY Moritt Hock & Hamroff welcome Sidney Balaban, Danielle Halevi, Mary Johnson, Juliette Matchton, Sam Tanenbaum, and Isaiah Williams to its 2023 summer associates & legal interns program. Sidney, Danielle, Mary, Juliette and Sam join the firm as summer associates while Isaiah joins as a legal intern. 

“Collaborating with our attorneys, the group will gain practical knowledge and real-world experience across a variety of the firm’s practice areas. As a former legal intern at MHH, I know the value both to these law students and to the firm in mentoring and developing the next generation of our attorneys. We are excited to have them on board,” said Marc Hamroff, managing partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff.

Sidney Balaban is a rising 3L at St. John’s University School of Law in the top 10% of his class and is a staff member of the St. John’s Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Russian and Eurasian Studies from Bard College.

Danielle Halevi is a rising 3L at Benjamin J. Cardozo School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Stony Brook University where she was on the Dean’s List and a member of Sigma Delta Tau Service and Leadership Sorority.

Mary Johnson is a rising 3L at St. John’s University School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. Mary served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Juliette Matchton is a rising 3L at the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University. She earned her B.A. in Communications and Media Studies from the University of Michigan. Previously, Juliette served as alegal intern in the firm’s 2022 summer program.

Sam Tanenbaum is a rising 3L at Fordham University School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland. Previously, Sam served as a legal intern in the firm’s 2022 summer program.

Isaiah Williams is a rising 2L at St. John’s University School of Law where he is an active member of the Black Law Students Association, Entertainment Arts and Sports Law Society and Intellectual Property Law Society. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from New York University.
