Austin appointed the general manager of TOTUS Business Centers

Melville, NY Jamie Austin, an experienced Long Island businessman and philanthropic leader, has been appointed general manager of TOTUS Business Centers. Austin, most recently chief operating officer of Long Islander News, and a founder and co-chairman of the Long Island Fight for Charity, will manage the executive office complex operated by TOTUS, an affiliate of T. Weiss Realty Corp.

Prior to joining Long Islander News, Austin served as vice president of sales and account management at his family’s business, Austin Travel, which was acquired by Protravel International in 2010. In this role, he directed online business solutions through 2016.  

Besides his business experience, he is active in Long Island’s philanthropic community. In addition to his role at the Long Island Fight for Charity, he is president of the Long Island Community Chest and a board member of Long Island Cruzin for a Cure.

 “I am excited to start work with TOTUS and help provide our partners with the resources and support they need to help grow their businesses in our Melville location,” said Austin.
