Audio Unlimited names Howell design engineer

Planet Verte LLC, doing business as Audio Unlimited, recently appointed Eric Howell as design engineer. Howell brings a strong skill set in design within the audio field including the design and tuning of audio systems for commercial spaces, auditoriums, live music venues and home theaters. Audio Unlimited is one of the Tri-State's area leading providers of turnkey audio-visual system design, integration and installation solutions. According to Audio Unlimited president Amanda Goldenberg, "We are pleased to have Eric join our staff. His extensive CAD (computer-aided design) experience, architectural insights and experience working with other architects, MEP engineers, builders and other contractors will make him a valuable member of our team." Directly prior to joining Audio Unlimited, Howell served as an Acoustical Consultant with SH Acoustics, where his responsibilities ranged from analyzing architectural sound isolation and acoustical factors, to performing acoustical measurements, preparing reports detailing acoustical designs and recommendations, as well as coordinating with other professionals. Among the projects he has served on are: the Birthplace of Country Music Museum (Bristol, VA), St. John's University/Academic Center (Queens, NY), Empire State Building (New York, NY), Kennedy Space Center Mission Tracking Center (Orlando, FL) and the WNET Channel 13 News Studios (New York, NY). Also lending to Mr. Howell's professional skills is his extensive experience gained as a professional performing and recording musician. Mr. Howell received his Bachelor of Arts in Audio Arts and Acoustics from Columbia College Chicago (Chicago, IL). Mr. Howell resides in Huntington, NY.
