Manhattan, NY Arrow Real Estate Advisors has added Thomas Wayda as senior director, marking the firm’s expansion into the Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic markets. Wayda brings more than a decade of institutional expertise in commercial real estate finance and capital markets.

In his role as senior director, Wayda will focus on servicing clients throughout Philadelphia and the broader Mid-Atlantic region, delivering customized financing solutions tailored to each client’s investment objectives. He will leverage deep relationships with banks, life insurance companies, debt funds, agencies, and alternative capital providers across a broad range of asset classes, including industrial, multifamily, retail, office, self-storage, and hospitality.
Throughout his career, Wayda has originated or structured more than $10 billion in debt and equity capital for institutional-quality assets nationwide. His recent transactions include a $57 million construction loan for a build-to-rent development in Warner Robins, GA; a $28.5 million bridge loan for a multifamily property in Fort Worth, TX featuring debt fund financing with preferred equity; and a $14 million bridge loan for a build-to-rent property in Tucson, AZ, all sourced through debt fund capital.
Prior to joining Arrow Real Estate Advisors, Wayda served as senior managing director at Greystone & Co., where he led a debt capital markets team specializing in non-agency transactions. His previous experience includes roles as senior vice president at Meridian Capital Group, a member of the capital markets team at Starwood Property Trust, and positions within Wells Fargo’s Large Loan Real Estate Capital Markets Group.
