Mount Vernon, NY According to Aries Deitch & Endelson, Inc., the firm completed the following three sales:
• 515 S. Columbus Ave. was a former free standing bank with two drive thrus. The property was purchased by Randhawa Estates Corp. who received approvals to renovate it for a Burger King. Barry Endelson, president of Aries Deitch represented the seller. Andrew Paul of Pyramid Real Estate of Stamford Conn. represented the buyer. The sales price was $1.6 million.
• Le Chateau, a 12,000 s/f Tudor mansion on 30 acres overlooking the Hudson Valley located at 1410 Rte. 35 in South Salem was sold for $3.8 million. The sale was brokered by Eugene Berger and Martin Deitch, principal of Aries, Deitch, who represented both sides in the transaction. The property was sold to a group that owns the Inn at Candlewood Lake in Connecticut. The deal took several months to complete as all sides worked towards meeting the stringent contingencies imposed by the local municipality. The expansion and improvements to the property are of importance to the surrounding community. Scheduled opening is October, 2017.
• The sale of 756-770 South Fifth Ave. for $725,000. The 8,430 s/f retail taxpayer is comprised of four retail tenants, a 3,600 s/f laundromat and an auto repair garage.
