Amsterdam of KELAIR, Inc. discusses how being a member of WEDLI has impacted her and her business

How has being a member of WEDLI impacted you or your business? I have been a long standing member of WEDLI .We were pioneers in our fields...women doing deals with other women who were members of WEDLI. Being a woman in a non-traditional field I found a great deal of support from the membership and made many good friends. Networking is a valuable tool in business development. I have been on numerous committees and served on many boards dealing with business, cultural, educational, and women's issues. It has been very helpful in my business career. For the past six years I have been director of business development for KELAIR Inc., an HVAC company that specializes in the service and maintenance of all types of air conditioning and heating equipment for commercial, industrial and retail accounts. KELAIR covers the New York, Long Island and Westchester areas. Prior to this I owned my own HVAC company which I sold to KELAIR. Millie Amsterdam is the director of business development for KELAIR, Inc., Port Chester, N.Y.
