Alesi of Forchelli, Curto honored by the EAC

Barbara Shaheen Alesi, Partner at Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana LLP will be honored by EAC on June 21st at North Hills Country Club at the 2010 Aloha Golf Classic event. The Annual Aloha Golf Classic and Tropical Paradise Evening benefits EAC's 70 programs including Meals on Wheels, Long Island Mediation and the Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center. Alesi was selected because of her leadership in business and in the community. Alesi concentrates her practice in corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, private placements of securities and mortgage and asset-based financing. She is a member of both the New York State Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association, and has served on the corporation law committee. In addition, she has served as chair of the North Shore Animal League America President's Advisory Board and as a member of the Advisory Board of Chicago Title Insurance Co. Alesi has also served as an executive board member of the National Association of Women Business Owners-LI chapter and on the membership committee of the Executive Women's Golf Association, Long Island chapter. She has been recognized by the New York Real Estate Journal in their annual Women in Real Estate issue as well as many Long Island Business News' listings including Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business (2001), Who's Who in Women in Professional Services (2007) and, most recently, Who's Who in Women in Corporate Law (2009).
