Advantage Group opens first office in NYC

The Advantage Group of Companies has opened its first office in New York City after 20 years of conducting business from offices on Long Island. Advantage, whose five businesses include Advantage Title Agency Inc., has opened offices at 245 Park Ave., the office tower that houses the headquarters of Major League Baseball, Rabobank America and offices of JP Morgan Chase. "As an increasing share of our business comes from New York City, it has become a necessity to have a presence in the city to provide the convenience and service that we have always been known for," said Advantage Group president Joseph Willen. He noted that Advantage is now serving major financial clients in the city and that its work last year included handling a portion of the national title underwriting work on the $22.5 billion acquisition of a multifamily real estate investment trust among many commercial transactions.
