Title: Counsel

Company Name: Herrick, Feinstein LLP

Real estate associations or organizations that you are currently a member of: New York City Bar Association

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?
I have spent the past six months working on several deals for the development and/or acquisition of warehouses across the U.S. to facilitate the distribution of consumer goods across various states. Working with multiple clients on different sides and stages of these deals, I’ve been able to see first-hand the push for more warehouses and last-mile delivery in various markets across the U.S.

What led you to your current profession?
During college, I spent a semester in Albany working in the State Assembly and became introduced to the legal process directly. I thought perhaps lobbying was in my future, so I decided to take the first step and attended law school. After graduating from Brooklyn Law School, I focused on corporate lending deals while working at a mid-sized law firm in New York. One day, I ran into an old friend from college who was working as an associate at Herrick. He told me about the firm’s sophisticated real estate practice, wonderful culture and broad client base. I was excited at the opportunity to grow my practice into an asset class that was tangible and dynamic. I joined Herrick in 2014 as an associate in the Real Estate Group and have enjoyed building a general real estate “dirt” practice from there.
