66 Rockwell partners with BRIC and BAM

According to The Dermot Company, its Fort Greene rental building, 66 Rockwell, has partnered with two additional local nonprofit organizations, BRIC and BAM, to offer residents exclusive discounts and opportunities, including on-site art classes, private events, dance lessons and parties. The announcement follows the launch of a successful partnership with The Mark Morris Dance Group that began in January. This series of innovative partnerships with local Brooklyn Cultural District organizations provides 66 Rockwell residents with access to exclusive experiences and encourages their involvement in the vibrant local arts scene. "We are thrilled to partner with BRIC and BAM, both of which are highly regarded cultural institutions not only within our community but throughout the country," said Jane Cohen, Property Manager at The Dermot Company. "These diverse partnerships round out our amenities program across the arts in an effort to meet the interests of as many residents as possible and further engage them in the dynamic offerings of the building's surrounding neighborhood." BRIC, the driving force behind a number of Brooklyn's most widely renowned arts and media programs, will offer quarterly on-site art classes to 66 Rockwell's EOS Club members, a private amenities club encompassing approximately 20,000 square feet. BRIC President, Leslie G. Schultz said, "BRIC is glad to welcome the residents of 66 Rockwell Place to BRIC House. We hope our new neighbors will make BRIC House their go-to place for exceptional cultural experiences in an environment that nurtures artists and media makers. We are honored to be part of the Brooklyn Cultural District and the vibrant culture present in our neighborhood." BAM, a multi-arts center offering world-renowned programming in theater, dance, music, opera and film, will also curate three private events at 66 Rockwell in 2015 for club members—giving them the unique opportunity to sample BAM's cultural programming in a more intimate setting. Additionally, EOS Club is sponsoring a limited number of BAM memberships for EOS Club members, which will allow early access to live performance tickets and 50% off full-price movie tickets all year. BAM President Karen Brooks Hopkins said, "We are excited to partner with The Dermot Company in welcoming the residents of 66 Rockwell Place; we look forward to giving our new neighbors a taste of BAM's artistic riches, and hope they will make visits to BAM's theaters and cinemas part of their lives. I'm particularly thrilled to see the Brooklyn Cultural District come to fruition, and I am proud to be part of a culturally-rich community with so much to offer those who choose to call it home." 66 Rockwell's continued partnership with the Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG), a local organization that has received global recognition for its work, provides residents with a selection of regularly scheduled on-site dance and fitness classes in the EOS Club. MMDG is also offering dance lessons and parties for residents, including a Salsa Night. EOS Club members also receive a discount on all classes at Mark Morris Dance Group as well as a discount on items in their store. "The program with Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG) has been successful, and continues to gain in popularity among our residents," said Megan Ferguson, the amenity manager at 66 Rockwell. "We could not be more thrilled that we are now adding BRIC and BAM partnerships to our list of offerings." For more information on 66 Rockwell, please visit www.66Rockwell.com

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
