What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? The historical redevelopment of The Cannery in Fairport, NY into a thriving mixed-use commercial plaza, including its numerous retail buildouts completed by Empire Commercial Construction.

Why should women consider a career in construction? It is an industry that has been around since Roman times. Everywhere you work you are leaving your imprint. 

Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? Owners of Taylor - the Builders.

Who within your own firm has helped you succeed within the construction industry? The talented Project Managers and Superintendents that we employ. As well as all the skilled subcontractors we hire to assist in our builds.

What advice would you offer to other women getting into the construction industry? Express yourself. As individuals we all have great ideas. Let your voice be heard.
