2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Joseph Pirrone, PE, AMA Group

Joseph Pirrone, PE
Principal
AMA Group

Number of years at firm: 19

One thing on my bucket list: I have always wanted to start and complete a commercial campus project with multiple buildings connected to a centralized MEP plant. While I have completed full buildings the intricacies of the campus project interest me.

When I am not working, I am: Spending time with my family, on a volleyball court (sand or wood does not matter) or playing golf with friends.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Penn 1 lobby and building upgrades as the project involved multiple facets of infrastructure upgrades, tenant improvement and coordination with local utilities in 30 separate, but intermingled projects over the past 3-4 years.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
“Joseph has been a valuable member of the AMA team for over 19 years and has been committed to our clients’ success as well as the quality delivery of every project. He has worked on landmark projects throughout New York including the new Penn 1 project for Vornado and he is always ready to learn and take on new challenges.” - David Ford, PE, Senior Managing Principal at AMA Group
