Jais Kwon, LEED AP BD+C, CPHC
Sustainable Design Specialist
FXCollaborative

Number of years at firm: 5

One thing on my bucket list: Teaching future generations and young professionals confidence and belief in their careers

When I am not working, I am: Enjoying parks in New York City with coffee and learning to be a good plant mom.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I consider playing a big part in the design of new David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center my biggest recent achievement. The project achieved the highest score as LEED v4 BD+C Platinum project in NY and is on track to achieve Net Zero energy. The team and I created a truly sustainable & beautiful space for the users of the arts center. It was an opportunity to know every part of the project, embed what the client believes in, and deliver truly beautiful and well-integrated space.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
