How have you navigated obstacles to achieve success in your career? It’s very easy to let obstacles become bigger than they are.  I always try to keep problems in perspective (sometimes easier said than done!) – and attempt to learn something from them.

How do you play your strengths to your advantage in your career? Everyone approaches situations differently.  I look at each assignment and think about what I can bring to it – and areas where I might need someone else’s expertise.  Great teams are born that way.

What trends are you seeing so far this year? The sense of trepidation that existed a few months ago seems to have dissipated.  There is a renewed sense of energy in the marketplace, which is refreshing and exciting.  Landlords also continue to reinvent older buildings to suit 21st Century tenants’ needs, which makes for a dynamic environment.

What do you do for fun? I spend time with my two year old – and love to cook.  He’s becoming quite the little helper.
