What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?

Trion Holdings most notable deal in 2016 was in April, when we acquired a four-building Washington Heights portfolio for $31.2 million. The buildings are five-story walk-ups with ground-floor retail. Given the market appeal and presence on 181st St., multiple parties were competing for the purchase. In addition to our offer, I believe our reputation for acting quickly, dealing fairly, and performing as agreed were key to winning the deal. The most important factors on why we acquired the asset were the location and upside in rents. Trion Holdings acquired another property shortly after the closing and we have another under contract today. The 181st St. portfolio was our most notable deal but 2016 has proven to be a success, and we look forward to carrying our momentum into 2017.
