How did you get your start in real estate?

When I decided to leave the District Attorney’s office to go into private practice, I looked for a practice area that was as challenging and evolving. I found it in real estate when I joined Rosenberg & Estis, PC.

What real estate associations or organizations are you a member of?

New York City Bar Association, Member, Committee on Cooperative and Condominium Law, 2013-2016, Member of the Irvington Village Zoning Board, 2014-2018

What recent honor, achievement or recognition has meant the most to you and why?

I have represented and been a long-time supporter of the YMCA of Greater New York and have served on its Leadership Council for many years. I am currently a co-chair of the Y’s annual campaign to help raise money for programs that serve children who, without these programs, would not have the opportunities that other children have to achieve and move past limited financial circumstances.

What have been some of the benefits of being a mentor or having a mentor?

As managing member of the firm and head of the litigation department, I spend a lot of time fostering the success of my colleagues–both partners and associates. When you invest your time for the benefit of others, those achievements are rich and rewarding. I believe that our firm’s growth and success can be attributed to that principal foundation.

What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you?
