What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2015? Gallin & Son was awarded the150,000 s/f Foot Locker relocation of their corporate offices. We look forward to building out their well-designed space in the first quarter of next year to allow them an efficient and timely relocation. What real estate project, transaction, market trend or product had a significant impact on your industry in 2015? The economic recovery allowed many landlords to focus on upgrading their public spaces (i.e. lobbies, hallways, bathrooms and infrastructure), making their buildings more desirable for tenants and potential tenants.  Additionally, they have assumed more of an active role in the build outs for their tenants. How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2016? We made significant changes in the upper management this year. Mark Varian, our President for 15 years retired and Chris Gallin, who was head VP of Marketing and Client Relations for 28 years, became the 7th Gallin to be President of John Gallin & Son. Michael Gallin, after 28 years as Head Director of Operations, has assumed the position of Partner in charge of Marketing and Client Relations. Additionally, Bob Kondracki and Andrew Cortese were both promoted to Co- Directors of Operation, as well as the promotion of 4 outstanding employees from Asst. Project Managers to Project Managers. This will enable our project teams to and continue to provide our stellar service to our clients.
